On Wednesday, June 30, a six person team from our church left for Curitiba, Brazil for a two week mission trip with Global Awakening’s  Youth Power Invasion.  They returned on Wednesday, July 14 with amazing testimonies about what they saw God do while they were there.  We are expecting an increase in the supernatural activity of God in our church and community now that they have returned.

Our team will be sharing their experiences and testimonies about what God did on this trip during our Sunday morning service on August 8th.  Feel free to invite friends and family that may be interested in hearing about missions work and wanting to experience the power of God.

Please pray in agreement with the church for the following things:

 

• Weds, June 30 – Travel arrangements, timing of flights, protection of luggage, unhindered entrance to Brazil, bus trip to Curitiba, arrival at destination and connection with the other Global Awakening teams
• July 1 – Rest & strength after travelling, ability to focus during orientation and practical details, Holy Spirit fire to fall during first corporate worship time
 
  • July 2 – Pray for each team member by name: Chris, Andrea, Melissa, Christina, Lydia and Benjamin – asking God to anoint them to do the things in Luke 4:18-19
  • July 3 – Opportunities to use the training they are receiving to minister to the people in need, an increase in the expectations of what God wants to do through them
  • Sun, July 4 – Freedom in every form God wants to pour it out: freedom to worship with abandonment, freedom to be all that God wants them to be, freedom for people they encounter who are in bondage
• July 5 – An increase in signs and wonders to come as they proclaim the Word of God, creative miracles and many salvations
• July 6 – Refreshing to come upon them even as they are refreshing others (Prov 11:25), rivers of living water to flow out of them to all those they touch; opportunities to communicate with their families here at home
 • Weds, July 7 – That our team would receive a double portion during the scheduled impartation service to not only pour out in Brazil, but to carry it back with them to our church; that this would be a significant encounter with God that would bring a new depth to their relationship with Him
• July 8 – Divine appointments as the teams go out to minister on the streets and in surrounding areas, an increase in the gifts of discernment and words of knowledge
• July 9 –  Knowing that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Eph 3:20),” ask Him to pour out His Spirit in the most amazing way you can think of; mass salvations? blind eyes open? deaf ears hearing? deliverance from demonic powers? dead people raised to life? multiplication of food? He can do it all and then some!
• July 10 – Meditate on the following scriptures and ask God to fill the mouths of our team with His word and all the power that goes with it: Isa 51:16, Rom 10:8, Eph 6:19, Luke 12:11-12
• Sun, July 11 – That each of our team members would tangibly experience the promise of God being their “shield and very great reward” (Gen 15:1), that the presence of God would be felt everywhere they go
• July 12 – A release of joy as the team participates in “Global Kindness”, a community outreach; that they would see the fruit of what happens when God’s kindness is poured out
• July 13 – Preparations to return home, opportunities to say goodbye to new friends and co-laborers, opportunities to reflect on all God has done and His goodness
• Weds, July 14 – Travel arrangements, timing of flights, protection of luggage, unhindered exit from Brazil, arrival at destination, re-entry into US
